United won both meetings against Portage Northern last season (6-3, 7-3).
The Blades sit at the top of the league standings at 3-0-0 on wins against Mattawan, United, and Portage Central. They’re 10-4-0 overall with the Eagles at 3-6-0 by comparison. The Eagles are fifth in the SWMHSHL at 1-3-0, getting the first win last week over Portage Central. The Eagles won 3-1 in their tournament meeting last season over the Blades, with the teams splitting their regular season games.
