Listen live online Tuesday at 5 p.m. as the Three Rivers Wildcats host the Sturgis Trojans to begin MHSAA Baseball District 47. The winner advances to the district semifinal Saturday at 10 a.m. against 11th-ranked Vicksburg, while the loser sees their season come to an end.
Sturgis is the defending district champion, defeating Plainwell and Vicksburg in last year’s tournament. They last claimed a district title in 2010. Back on April 25, these teams split a doubleheader at Sturgis. The Trojans won game one 4-2, followed by a 7-2 Wildcat win.
